Sharing the story of slum kids

Here, I am sharing a story.

The children in these photos are residents of a slum. They live in a slum located in Dagon Seikkan, Yangon, Myanmar. They don't own the land where the slum is built; it was granted temporarily by the Myanmar government (2015 - 2020). In fact, there are two other slums like this, but the current military government destroyed those places for their own benefit. The people living in the slum collect plastic rubbish to survive. As depicted in the photos, children in this place live in the darkest corners of the city, yet play as if they are as light as feathers.

I went there for a donation purpose, and I captured these photos during that time.
When going around the slum, I saw this boy playing with tri-cycle like he is driving it. There are also other kids around there but i like his expression and captured it.
It was inside the one of the house of the slum. She was  doing her makeup in front of the mirror when she saw me photographing.
